Introduction

Most resources can be found throughout the map where they are randomly generated at the start of each game.

Get your monsters to collect resources to build items or sell to the itinerant merchant for gold that you can use to purchase food or more monsters.

Most resources can also be sold to the travelling merchant when his van drives by your house.

Building materials

OR ————>
Wood: Comes from all the different trees with leaves. Wood can be used to build floors, walls, doors and furniture.

OR ————>
Evil wood: Comes from evil trees without any leaves. Evil wood will hurt the monsters as they are cutting it (unless they use a special ax) or standing next to it.

————>
Rock: Comes from mining the rock beds. Rock is slower to collect than wood, but is required to build certain items.

————>

Rock with gold: Sometimes gold nuggets can be seen in the rock. Mine these nuggets to get more gold. Gold is used to buy food, monsters and other items from the itinerant merchant when his van drives past your house.

————>
Metal: Sometimes silver-colored nuggets can be seen in the rock: this is metal that is required to build certain items.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms can be eaten! There are different types of mushrooms and they all have side effects if the monsters eat them: some are useful and others are not.

Purple Mushroom: is considered food but with a risk of intoxication (the monster may lose Heal points)

Polka dot Mushroom: Increases health but with a risk of illness (the monster's speed may be reduced temporarily)

Crumpled Mushroom: Increases loyalty but with a risk of throwing up (the monster may lose the benefit of the food he has eaten recently)

Food

Food comes from killing victims. Different monsters eat different kinds of food.

Meat: Food for monsters that like meat (example: Werewolf).
Goes bad quickly after a few hours if not properly stored (cooked, smoked or kept in a fridge, for example)

brain: Food for monsters that like brains (example: Zombie).

bones: Food for monsters that like bones (example: Skeleton). Can also be used to build nice furniture for your monsters.
Does not go bad.

Meatball: Can be eaten by every monster except those who eat bones.
Meatballs are made from brain, flesh and blood and are eaten by all the monsters except those that feed on bones. If all your monsters eat the same kind of food they may be the most efficient way of feeding them because it lets you 'recycle' the body parts that are generated that this type of monster doesn't eat, reducing waste. They are made with a kitchen stove.

Smoked meat:(see meat). Food for monsters that like meat (example: Werewolf). Smoked food never goes bad but some of the food is lost to the smoking process.

Smoked brains:(see brains). Food for monsters that like brains (example: Zombie).
